BNCC: An Inspiration for Patriotism and Humanitarian Service Among Youth

Many people often ask, what is the real benefit of joining the BNCC (Bangladesh National Cadet Corps)? In response, BNCC cadets highlight a simple yet profound truth—everything cannot be measured in terms of personal gain. Patriotism, humanitarian service, and a sense of responsibility far outweigh material benefits.

BNCC is an organization that fosters discipline, patriotism, and a sense of duty among young people. Recently, several cadets who participated in various camping and military training activities shared their experiences. Among them, Mohammad Raffan remarked, "If it weren’t for BNCC, we might never have had the opportunity to work alongside the Bangladesh Army." He added that participating in firing training has enhanced their courage and skillset.

During their time in the cantonments for military training, cadets gain practical knowledge of military strategies alongside learning how to handle weapons. These experiences not only sharpen their abilities but also deepen their sense of duty towards the nation.

According to Mohammad Raffan, "BNCC has taught us how to work for the country, even in the most difficult situations, enduring hunger and fatigue. We have learned discipline, patience, and how to move forward united in the service of the nation."

BNCC is not limited to military training; it also plays a crucial role in awakening a sense of patriotism and social responsibility among young people. Through their efforts, BNCC cadets participate in various activities such as paying tribute to the martyrs on Victory Day, planting trees, donating blood, and leading anti-drug campaigns.

BNCC also provides young people with the unique opportunity to visit important military establishments for the first time and work closely with the Bangladesh Army. These experiences ignite a sense of patriotism and inspire cadets to take part in humanitarian activities.

BNCC is more than just a military organization. It is a symbol of life values that guide young people to grow into responsible and dedicated citizens. It instills in them a deep sense of patriotism and the drive to serve their country and humanity.
